About

After successful completion of MSc and MPHil. in Coastal Aquaculture and PhD in Marine Biology in 2003, he has worked as Benthic Ecologist in King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for UNCC and ROPME research programs in the field of benthic ecology and environmental impact assessments. Later he has joined in Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, as Project Scientist and Team Leader and has experiences on blacklip pearl oyster farming and pearl production, molluscan hatchery operations, conservation and ecological restoration of pearl oysters and other ETP gastropods in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He has joined in KUFOS as an Assistant Professor (Aquaculture) in 2015 and presently working as Head of KUFOS Regional Centre, Fisheries Station at Puduveypu since 2017.
