About

Dr.V.Ambilikumar has teaching, training and research experience of 28 years. He started career in 1992 as Faculty Member in the Institute of Cooperative Management, Thiruvananthapuram, a unit of the National Council for Cooperative Training (Govt. of India) ,New Delhi. In 1998 he joined the Kerala Agricultural University as Assistant Professor and was posted in the Department of Management Studies of College of Fisheries, Panangad, Kochi. In the year 2011, College of Fisheries was converted into the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) through an Act. Dr. V.Ambilikumar was the first Finance Officer of KUFOS, served the university as Head of the Department of Business Administration and Management for 4 years. He has also discharged the duties of Assistant Warden of the Men's hostel, Associate Patron and Public Information Officer. He is now holding the additional charges of the Director of the School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Internal Vigilance Officer and the Convenor of the Campus Development Committee. He has produced TWO doctorate degrees and currently guiding eight students for Ph.D. He is a member of Indian Accounting Association. He was a member of the Board of Studies in Commerce, Academic Council and Senate of the Cochin University of Science, Member of Academic Council and Board of Studies in Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies.
