Functioned as the Drawing and Disbursing Officer of the University Professor & Controller of Examinations (1-8-2002 to 308-2004) Professor (Norms Promotion) from 17-4-1999 to 7-5-2000 and subsequently opt to UGC Professorship cancelling Professorship under norms promotion w.e.f. 8-5-2000 onwards (Total 16 years and 4 months in the Professors level. Administrative experience at Statutory Officers Level in the University and as Director, School of Industrial Fisheries for 3 years, Professor Chair of UGC for 9 years (Six years as Registrar and Two years as Controller of Examinations of Cochin University of Science and Technology. Scientist and Senior Scientist – Agriculture Research Service –ARS ( 30-11-1984 to 7-5-1992 Nominated as Fishery Industry Advisor of Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries, Sultanate of Oman Nominated as Expert twice by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and participated in the Working Party MeetingsAPFIC Conferences/Symposia.   • of India, guidelines were prepared and submitted to MPEDA for implementation for the sustainable development of ornamental fish trade from the country  As a Member of the Working Group on Science and Technology of the Kerala State Planning Board, policy document was prepared for the 12th Plan for the State in the field of Science and Technology  As a Member in the Working Group on Coastal Zone Management of the Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem (BOBLME) project comprising of eight Bay of Bengal Countries, contributions were made at different workshops, policy meetings and for locating a pilot ICM site in Pondicherry
  • Various intellectual contributions are being given to the Group
  • As a part of the effort Country level presentations were made as the leader of the Indian Team in Colombo, Sri Lanka and Cob Bazaar, Bangladesh
  •  Nominated as a member in the Kerala State Coastal Zone Management Authority (KSCZMA) by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India and is now working actively for the KSCZMA
