Faculty of Fisheries Management (FFM)
The Faculty of Fisheries Management (FFM), formerly known as the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME), was established in 2011 following the inception of KUFOS. The school initiated its academic journey in 2012 with the launch of the MBA program and later expanded to include M.Sc. (Statistics) and LL.M. (Maritime Law) postgraduate programs in the 2012-13 academic years. In 2021, the School was renamed as the Faculty of Fisheries Management (FFM) through an ordinance.

FFM remains committed to enhancing its academic, research, and extension activities, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation in the business and fisheries sectors.
- i) Department of Business Administration and Management
The MBA program incorporates real-world learning through case studies, industry interactions, and field visits, providing a strong foundation for aspiring managers and entrepreneurs. This hands-on approach makes the program a valuable asset for students aiming to advance their careers in various industries, meeting the expectations of the business world.
- ii) Department of Statistics
The Department of Statistics offers a Postgraduate Program in M.Sc. (Statistics), with an intake capacity of 14 students per year. Notably, 20% of the seats are reserved for candidates from the fisher folk community. Currently, two batches of the M.Sc. (Statistics) program are in progress, providing specialized training and statistical expertise to meet the growing demand for data-driven decision-making in various sectors.
- iii) Department of Legal Studies
The Department of Legal Studies offers a postgraduate program in LL.M. (Maritime Law), which was introduced in the 2013-14 academic year, with an intake of 16 students annually. Twenty percent of the seats are reserved for candidates from the fisher folk community. The department also offers a Ph.D. program, which commenced in the 2014-15 academic year.
