About

I am interested in studying the patterns in the fisheries ecology, especially on dynamic of plankton and its impact on fisheries. Meroplankton component, ie., the larval community of commercially important crustaceans especially penaeid shrimps is the thrust area of my research. Research on zooplankton ecology-higher taxa level (physico-chemical and biological aspects) in the marine as well as coastal waters and the response to various physico-chemical processes and the systematic and biology of marine prawns particularly from the commercial landings are the other areas of interest.
