Associate Professor and head Dept. of Fisheries Resource Management. 29 years Teaching and research experience in Fish Taxonomy, fish stock assessment, Fishery Biology and fishery management. Served as as a Member, Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem- Hilsa fisheries assessment working group, Thailand Attended international training on Fisheries data collection and analysis at Wageningen International, Wageningen University, and the Netherlands with NUFIC fellowship. Attended Fish stock assessment, population dynamics, population models, fishery management training at BOBLME, Bangkok, Thailand. Attended 11th session of Indian Ocean Tuna Commission(IOTC)working party on Bill fishes at La Reunion, France 18-22 September 2013 Visited Netherlands, Belgium, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Thailand
