Placement Cell
University placement cell meeting was held on July – 15 -2022 to discuss various actions to be taken for locating job opportunities for under graduates and post graduates passing out from KUFOS by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. Director of Research along with teacher representatives of four faculties and student coordinators of various UG/PG programmes comprises the university placement cell.
Accordingly it was decided to start individual placement wings under every faculty with overall supervision of Director of Research. Faculty placement cells are in operation now and maintain registers for placement details of students. All the information/communication with the firms is routed through to Faculty/University placement cell. Teachers are given charges along with placement cell members to identify and list firms for employment and also to identify scholarship for higher education. Placement of brochures have been designed various courses. Two students from each course are selected to coordinate the placement cell activities. Students are requested to register in the cell and guidance is given for preparation of resume, group discussions, and interview. Workshop and mock interviews are being organized by the faculty placement cell. The services of alumni working in industries are also utilized to establish contact with HR of institution and also for mentoring the students. External members from industry are also to be nominated to the placement cell. Job fairs are also being planned at the university
