The Directorate of Extension Education plans, coordinates, and executes all extension programs across the university. It collaborates closely with relevant government departments and other organizations involved in fisheries development. The Directorate produces extension publications and periodicals, organizes media programs, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns to disseminate fisheries technologies to stakeholders for adoption. Additionally, it offers training programs, including entrepreneurial and skill development courses, to promote new and improved fisheries technologies and develop a skilled workforce for the fish production and processing industry.
