The School of Management and Entrepreneurship proposes to start Centre for Advanced Studies and Research in Entrepreneurship Development in Fisheries, Agri-Business and Rural Industries during the year 2017-2022. The objective of the centre is to develop the entrepreneurship skills among the stakeholders, especially of the fisheries sector, by providing direct and virtual incubation, collaboration with international business incubators, protection and management of intellectual assets and thereby equip them to lead a socially and financially stable life. This will be associated with KSBCDC (Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation), NMDFC (National Minorities Development Finance Corporation), National Fisheries Development Board, Small Farmers Agri-Business Consortium and other banks for starting enterprises for the people from all communities.
Promoting entrepreneurship among students, artisans and other stakeholders and entrepreneurship development in fisheries sector
Mobilizing and deliver the technologies developed in the University to the stakeholders
Provide training in soft skill development for students, artisans and executives
Collaborating with agencies both Governmental and NGOs for promoting self-employment
Providing training and consultancy services in the area of Entrepreneurship Development in relevant areas
